We are looking for a mid-level QA/Test Engineer to help us build and ship quality healthcare technology products to our customers. You will be involved in writing automated tests for all aspects of our technology stack including Go, Angular and Flutter applications across web, mobile, and backend systems. Your work will be a key part of our continuous integration strategy and you will be expected to promote industry best practices within our development team.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automated test suites using modern testing frameworks
  • Perform exploratory testing as part of our weekly release cycle
  • Write comprehensive test plans and maintain test documentation
  • Collaborate with developers to integrate tests into our CI/CD pipeline
  • Maintain test coverage above 80% across all applications
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance in all testing processes and data handling
  • Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives
  • Monitor and report on quality metrics and testing progress

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 3+ years equivalent QA engineering experience
  • 3+ years experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Jest, or similar)
  • Proficiency with Linux and Mac development environments
  • Experience writing test code in at least one programming language 
  • Strong understanding of manual and automated testing best practices
  • Experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows
  • Understanding of HIPAA compliance requirements and healthcare data security
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently while actively collaborating with team members
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with RESTful API testing and documentation
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerization technology
  • Experience with Linux server administration and deployment processes
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Performance testing experience with tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
  • Previous experience in healthcare, regulated software, or FDA validation processes
  • Background in agile development methodologies

  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Job Type

  • Type: Full-time
  • Reports to: Engineering Manager
  • Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000 annually (based on experience)
